Dave chats with Kelly Sims from the Mental health foundation of Australia about next weeks National Symposium on Homelessness and Mental Health
Tuesday 13th October 2020 10am – 2pm Hobart Town Hall A light lunch and refreshments will be provided
This opportunity aims to discuss the issues surrounding homelessness with the sector key leaders, particularly in relation to mental health. It will explore the supports and services available to those who are homeless and require assistance, as well as what can be done to improve these services in the hope of minimising the issue into the future. The Symposium will be a strength-based, safe and meaningful opportunity for not only leading professionals to come together and share information in a facilitated setting, but also a direct channel for members of the community to raise concerns about what they believe is needed to improve the areas of both homelessness and mental health.
The purpose of this symposium is to gather grassroots feedback from both our community and the experts within their fields, have robust discussions and to consider this information meaningfully in relevance when developing recommendations for government submissions on behalf of our community, the MHFA & this event.
Limited seats are available so be quick to either RSVP to this email or register yourself via the below link… Due to current COVID-19 restrictions and the topic being explored, we urge you to RSVP/register asap via: https://events.humanitix.com/national-symposium-on-homelessness-and-mental-health
