OneFest – which has been at the Playhouse Theatre since 2009 – is a two day event featuring short plays of various genres, styles, and lengths across multiple sessions.

“This One Act Play Festival has plays up to 30 minutes in length and as short as 5 minutes. Plays can be new or old works, but must not be excerpts from longer plays.” Says Festival Director Ros Peck, “I am a huge fan of the one act model, it displays a special skill in the writing to be able to tell a whole story in the short format.  It also gives many people the opportunity to write, direct and perform, last year one of our award winning plays went on to win more awards in the International festival on Norfolk Island.”  The festival is adjudicated and awards given after the final play on Saturday night with supper provided, all in the price of your ticket.

OneFest 2019 is on Friday the 13th @7:30 and Saturday the 14th of September 2:30 + 7:30pm. For more information, go to onefest.com.au
