The Tasmania JackJumpers have launched a global search for their inaugural Head Coach.

Tasmania JackJumpers’ CEO Simon Brookhouse has told Dave  that they want to find the very best candidate for this role.

“Having assessed the market, we believe this is a tremendously attractive position for a coach from anywhere around the world, hence we believe it’s important to conduct a thorough global search.

“Australia is a very attractive destination for players and coaches at present and the NBL is one of the best leagues in the world outside of the NBA. This is also a great opportunity for the right leader to help build a club and its culture from the beginning and join the JackJumpers for this exciting journey.

“The role of Head Coach at a new club is a critical appointment and will shape the future for the JackJumpers. With this in mind we believe that it is imperative to seek expressions of interest from the global basketball community and take the appropriate time to conduct a proper process which canvasses a strong field of candidates.”
