Tasmania’s premier club teams’ championship, the Claremont Shield, tees off at Prospect Vale Golf Club on Saturday, March 16.

Golf Tasmania Operations Manager Stuart Eaton joins dave to explain 13 teams of four competitors representing clubs from around the State will vie for the prestigious trophy.

“Launceston Golf Club’s Mitch Van Noord, Greg Longmore, Matt Marston and Cameron Bell look set to defend their title won last year on home soil,” Mr Eaton said.

“Tasmania Golf Club will again be represented by State men’s team members Mark Schulze and Andrew Phillips, as well as Brett Geeves and Josh Spaulding.

“I would also recommend keeping a close eye on Royal Hobart Golf Club’s Joey Bower, Paul Read, Richard Kube and Josh Hill.”
