Who’s Listening?

During November 2011 independent company Enterprise Marketing and Research Services (EMRS),  surveyed Greater Hobart about ultra106five. People were asked, “Have you listened to ultra106five in the past month?”

The results were very encouraging, showing that 24 per cent had listened to ultra106five. How amazing is that – nearly a quarter of Hobart!

This was the third survey EMRS have undertaken to determine listenership in a two year period. Each survey showed significant growth.
The November 2011 survey highlights are
• Our 18-24 audience has almost doubled in 9 months – now 32%
• Almost one in three 18 – 44 year olds listen (30% +)
• Families are still our biggest family situation 56%
• And 38% of students aged 18+ listen

So a big “Thank You!” for listening to ultra106five. As the audience grows, together we are helping to change lives right across Greater Hobart.  In addition, the global impact the station makes is increased as more people hear about initiatives such as Walk for Water, Operation Christmas Child, World Vision and CBM’s Miracles Day.

I would just like to say a BIG THANK YOU. you have a wonderful radio station and I listen to you all the time. I love that you exist. My 10 year old daughter and I really appriciate having a nice wholesome radio station and I especially like the "focus on the Family bits" and sick joke of the day. I just hope more and more people vote with their ears to tell Tasmania what kind of things we feel are appropriate for our families. Best wishes Anita Orchard
